Hilary Thorogood

Hilary Thorogrood

Hilary Thorogood has always been a maker. From an early age, she found joy in working with her hands—experimenting with different materials, guided by a creative instinct and a keen eye for detail.

Today, she creates unique jewellery from her home studio, where every piece is carefully crafted with intention and care. Her designs draw deeply from the natural world—its textures, forms, and quiet symbolism—blending delicate storytelling with bold, expressive design.

Hilary’s love of colour comes alive in her use of vibrant dichroic glass, which lends a shimmering, ethereal quality to her work. Each piece is made from fine silver and enhanced with a hand-applied patina, adding richness and contrast.

Her jewellery is not just decorative—it’s personal, symbolic, and full of feeling. Hilary is now excited to share her passion and creativity with a wider audience.
